ABOUT

I am a Graduate Student at Columbia with a specialization in Robotics and Control. I am passionate about building smart robotic systems. Robots are rapidly transforming the way we live and work and I believe that they will have the even more revolutionary impact in the years ahead. I aim to make a valuable contribution to society by applying my skills and knowledge in robotics, mechatronics, and control
In particular, my interests include autonomous driving vehicles, robotic manipulation, and surgical robotics. I am currently actively seeking full-time opportunities in Robotics and Mechanical Engineering. If you’d like to learn more about my research and different projects that I worked on, please feel free to reach out to me.

CHEXTER

The project involved programming the Baxter robot to ultimately play a board game with an opponent using Computer Vision. It uses OpenCV to identify locations of game pieces. It is using a game-playing algorithm to identify which objects to grasp and where to move those objects.

COMPUTER VISION

The project involved the Computer vision using OpenCV for Pedestrian Detection

MECHATRONICS AND MICRO-CONTROLLERS

Mechatronics is the application of electronics and microcomputers to control mechanical systems. Systems in mini projects explored include on/off systems, solenoids, stepper motors, dc motors, thermal systems, magnetic levitation. Use of analog and digital electronics and various sensors for control. Programming microcomputers in Assembly Language.

DIGITAL MANUFACTURING

This projects examined a variety of digitally-controlled manufacturing processes that convert computer models directly into physical objects.

BAJA SAE 2015

The goal in Baja SAE racing is to design, build and race off-road vehicles that can withstand the harshest elements of rough terrain.
